Lucknow July 19: Bringing together policymakers, business leaders, logistics professionals, entrepreneurs and exporters on a common platform, the Movers Connect Business Summit 2026, organised by Publicity Mantra and powered by SESR Foundation, emerged as a significant industry forum focused on strengthening India’s logistics ecosystem and positioning Uttar Pradesh as a preferred destination for investment, trade and infrastructure development.
Held under the theme “Moving India Forward,” the summit featured extensive deliberations on the future of logistics, warehousing, relocation, exports, multimodal connectivity, artificial intelligence, sustainability and public-private partnerships. The discussions underscored the critical role of an efficient logistics ecosystem in enhancing India’s global competitiveness and supporting Uttar Pradesh’s vision of becoming a One Trillion Dollar Economy.
One of the major highlights of the summit was the discussion on recognising the organised moving and relocation industry as an integral part of India’s logistics value chain. Industry experts emphasised that the sector can significantly strengthen the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative by providing professional packaging, warehousing, first-mile and last-mile transportation, relocation support and integrated supply chain solutions for MSMEs, artisans and exporters.
After Inaugurating the event, Shri Anupam Mishra, Acting Uttar Pradesh President, Rashtriya Lok Dal, highlighted the crucial role of skill development in strengthening India’s logistics and relocation ecosystem. He said that as the logistics sector expands rapidly, there is an urgent need to develop a skilled workforce capable of meeting the evolving demands of the industry.
“The vision of Skill India can become a major growth driver for the organised movers and relocation sector by creating employment opportunities, enhancing service quality and equipping youth with industry-specific skills,” he said. Shri Mishra also congratulated Publicity Mantra and SESR Foundation for conceptualising and organising a unique industry platform that brings together policymakers, businesses and stakeholders to deliberate on the future of logistics and economic growth in Uttar Pradesh.
The summit also featured insightful addresses by Jayant Krishna, Senior Fellow and Chair on India and Emerging Asia Economics, CSIS, Washington DC, who highlighted the need to integrate the organised moving and relocation sector into India’s broader logistics and export strategy. Mukesh Bahadur, Chairman, UP Coordination Committee, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, spoke on aligning Uttar Pradesh’s industrial development with global investment opportunities, while Sarvesh Goel, Chairman, Mansingh Goel Group, emphasised the importance of world-class infrastructure and efficient logistics in enhancing the competitiveness of Indian industry. Saurabh Rai, UP Partner, PwC India, observed that a robust logistics ecosystem, supported by infrastructure, technology and strong public-private collaboration, is essential to accelerating Uttar Pradesh’s industrial growth, boosting exports and creating sustainable employment opportunities.

The summit concluded with a strong consensus on fostering greater collaboration among government institutions, industry associations, logistics companies, startups and investors to build a globally competitive logistics ecosystem capable of supporting manufacturing, exports and inclusive economic development.
The recommendations emerging from the summit are expected to contribute to ongoing discussions on logistics reforms, infrastructure development, export promotion and policy innovation, reinforcing Uttar Pradesh’s aspiration to become one of India’s leading logistics and investment destinations.
On this occasion, the ‘moversconnect.org‘ platform was also launched to bring together professionals and stakeholders from the movers, packers, and logistics sectors- both domestic and international onto a single platform. Highlighting the significance of this initiative, Mr. Ajay Goyal, CEO of APML, stated that the platform would serve as a vital link connecting individuals associated with the industry.
He further expressed hope that the suggestions emerging from the summit would contribute to ongoing discussions regarding logistics improvements, infrastructure development, export promotion, and policy innovation, thereby strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s goal of becoming a premier logistics and investment destination in India.
